My name is Michal Bounla, I am 31 years old, originally from Zruč nad Sázavou, and currently living in Liberec. I enjoy playing story-driven, action, and competitive video games (such as the Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, and Devil May Cry series). In addition, I actively engage in fitness and take a conservative approach to investing – from cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to carefully selecting stocks. I also have a great passion for good food; I love Asian and Italian cuisine, steaks, sushi, and various sweet desserts.
I have been working in the UX/UI design field for more than 13 years, gaining extensive experience along the way. A significant part of my career has been spent at Miton, where I have worked and continue to work on projects such as Restu.cz and Glami.
Besides design, I also have experience in front-end development. I consider the connection between design and coding to be one of my strengths. As a result, I have been responsible for several projects from start to finish – not only designing their visual aspects but also coding them into fully functional websites. For instance, I created the website Danfil.cz and the Krypto Kalkulačka from the initial design phase to final deployment. I am comfortable setting up websites on WordPress and other content management systems. Additionally, I enjoy experimenting with the latest HTML and CSS techniques to push the boundaries of front-end development and design.
